Remembering A Riverman
The Waterways Journal

Museum director Jack Fowler reports that the new pilothouse
simulator at the Point Pleasant River Museum was to be dedicated
in honor of Capt. Nelson Jones on Sunday, February 12. Widely
respected by all who were privileged to know him, Nelson is much
missed by his countless friends in the river industry. He did
numerous deeds to preserve and promote river history, and this new
interactive exhibit is a fitting tribute to an outstanding and
consummate riverman who will long be remembered for his exemplary
work ethic and kindness to all.
