Salvage Work Starts

Crews from River Salvage, of Pittsburgh, bring up buckets of coal from the bottom of the Monongahela River on Friday. Two barges loaded with 2,000 tons of coal that sank Sunday at a harbor near the old Humphrey Mine in Maidsville had to be emptied before they could be brought to the surface.
