DEP Awaits Results of Dunkard Creek Water Tests

Officials with the West Virginia Department of Environmental Protection
are still waiting on water test results to determine what has killed
thousands of fish in Dunkard Creek this month.
Frank Jernejcic, with the West Virginia Division of Natural Resources,
said what fish are left are still dying.
Since Sept. 3, residents living along Dunkard Creek — in West Virginia
and Pennsylvania — have reported dead fish and other wildlife.
