RE: Corps report to Congress due 31 March 2004 re operating upper Mon locks from Point Marion lock
Dear Congressman Mollohan:
We most appreciate your help in getting Congress to request the subject report. I was allowed to read (but not copy) the report at our 9 April meeting of the Mon River Recreation VISION 2020 Committee.
The report is, from my hurried scan, written in a positive way, and, appears to validate the practicability of remote operation of our Upper Mon Morgantown, Hildebrand, and, Opekiska locks, from the Point Marion lock.
I ask if you would please send me a copy of the report.
